Reputation Partners was retained after this company was investigated by “Dateline NBC” for its selling practices. “Dateline” planned an extensive segment, including hidden camera interviews and comments from a former employee-turned-whistleblower. In preparation for the segment, our team developed a comprehensive plan for the company which included a vulnerabilities assessment to anticipate the investigation’s areas of focus, arguments detailing the company’s high level of customer satisfaction, voluntary enhancements to the company’s selling practices and a variety of internal and external communications to all audiences. As a result, the company anticipated and preempted “Dateline’s” areas of focus, helping avoid legal challenges, drop off in sales or lasting reputational damage.
