Reputation Partners represented a global paper and pulp company with nearly 18,000 worldwide employees as they grappled with contentious negotiations with the Paper Allied-Industrial Chemical and Energy Workers International Union (PACE) at several North American plants. Serving as a key advisor to negotiators and management, we guided the company’s internal and external communications strategy, focusing on driving recognition for the company’s contract offer, as well as its track record of being a good employer and corporate neighbor. The company successfully ratified a new contract containing its desired provisions while maintaining its positive reputation among employees and in its local communities.
