Jane Devron has 12 years of communications consulting experience, specializing in developing and implementing corporate communications/reputation management programs. Along with Nick Kalm and Megan Hakes, Jane founded Reputation Partners in 2002.
At Reputation Partners, Jane specializes in issues/crisis management, employee and labor communications and corporate positioning. In addition to spearheading corporate visibility programs, her work has included developing and implementing communications strategies surrounding litigation, labor union negotiations/corporate campaigns, mergers and acquisitions, and leadership transitions. She has worked with a range of clients including Ace Hardware, OfficeMax, IBM, StoraEnso, Owens Corning, LifeSource, Vonage, Ovation Pharmaceuticals, and Tave Risk Management.
Prior to joining Reputation Partners, Jane spent more than four years with Edelman Public Relations. She worked in the firm’s New York and Chicago offices where she focused on corporate message development, CEO/executive positioning, issues management and employee communications. While at Edelman, she provided counsel and services for a range of organizations, including Household International, The Nature Conservancy, Samsung and others.
Jane joined Edelman from Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide in Chicago, where she worked on internal and external communications programs for clients including R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company, Oracle, Snap-on Tools and Quaker Oats.
Jane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism in Evanston, Ill. As a journalism student, she held several communications positions, including reporting for The Naples Daily News, Crain’s Electronic Media and Advertising Age. She also assisted in the New York-based employee communications department of Bloomingdale’s department stores.
Jane resides with her husband Jeff and son John Patrick and daughter Caroline Margaret in Chicago’s North Center neighborhood.
