Cassidy Neveux, Senior Associate

Cassidy Neveux brings a six-year combination of corporate communications and journalism experience to Reputation Partners, enabling her to provide strategic media-relations and communications counsel in times of strife and success. Cassidy joined the company as a Senior Associate in July 2007.

As a member of the Reputation Partners team, Cassidy is responsible for leading the development of strategic communications plans, crafting supporting materials and coordinating media relations efforts for clients such as Fifth Third Bank Chicago, Allied Waste Industries, Wheels and De La Rue. Her unique expertise in crisis communications ensures rapid response and high attention to detail as she counsels clients in securing positive coverage and addressing high-profile issues.

Prior to joining Reputation Partners, Cassidy worked for Edelman Public Relations, where she was engaged on numerous issues preparation and real-time crisis support assignments across a variety of industries. As part of the firm’s Crisis & Issues Management team, Cassidy provided counsel, managed third-party relationships, drafted communications materials and conducted in-depth research and issues monitoring to help companies predict and respond to a broad range of issues. Her clients included: American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, ConAgra Foods, DeLaval, Forest County Potawatomi, Limited Brands, Lopez Foods, S.C. Johnson, Tetra Pak, The Mills Corp. and Unilever.

Before becoming a communications counselor, Cassidy served as a weekend anchor and reporter for KIDK TV-3 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. In addition to reporting on a variety of national news stories, from the Shuttle Columbia crash to the return of Elizabeth Smart, she also wrote and produced a half-hour documentary on a Fort Lewis, Wash., military troop. Cassidy’s hard-hitting news coverage earned her second place in the state for the “Best Spot News Report of 2004.”

Cassidy has also been heavily involved in politics, serving as an assistant campaign manager in an Indiana State House race and traveling to New Hampshire in 2000 to assist during the presidential primary.

Cassidy graduated with high honors from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind., where she earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science. She and her husband, Eric, currently reside in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood.
