Charlotte Walker is a vice president at Reputation Partners. She has worked in public relations for more than a decade and offers balanced experience in corporate and business-to-business (B2B) public relations. An agency veteran, Charlotte has served a variety of industries – including professional services, supply chain management, telecommunications and private aviation.
Charlotte is a primary strategic contact for clients, analyzing businesses and guiding their communications platforms in tandem with the overarching business objectives. In addition to pure-play PR, she has an in-depth understanding of integrated marketing. From designing product frameworks to guiding corporate re-branding programs to initiating viral campaigns, she extends her reach beyond traditional communications tactics to steer corporate success. In addition, Charlotte spearheads the agency’s efforts around social network strategies – helping corporations understand the emerging opportunities in online social platforms and leverage them appropriately to meet their objectives or overcome challenges.
At Reputation Partners, Charlotte leads corporate communications account teams in work surrounding issues management related to property taxation for the Building Owners Managers Association (BOMA) of Chicago; introducing new bank technology products to the industry on behalf of Talaris; and leading the communications strategy surrounding Wheels’ eco-fleet offering. She manages corporate and trade visibility for DB Aviation and was the team leader to introduce The Health Law Consultancy to the industry.
Prior to joining Reputation Partners, Charlotte was a vice president at Ruder Finn. There, she led some of the Chicago office’s largest accounts, including the Client Development division of LexisNexis, Transplace – a third-party logistics and technology company, LifeLock – an identity theft protection company, and Widevine – a video content security innovator. Through work with her clients, Charlotte managed patent announcements, mergers and acquisitions, community outreach, corporate crises and divisional launches.
Charlotte moved to Chicago from Denver, CO, where she spent more than three years at Metzger Associates, a boutique PR firm focused on technology and telecom industries. There, she represented WorldCom and Sprint PCS, helping to launch the latter’s 3G network to the enterprise and consumers. Charlotte began her career at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, representing eToys, Qwest and Xerox.
Charlotte graduated from Vanderbilt University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in French and English. She lives in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood.
